Will Brown is pleased to be included in Highlight Gallery’s Sea Stories Between the Tides, an exhibition exploring the mystery and wonder of the open sea. For the occasion, Highlight helped us build a brand new slightly slanted plywood floor from one side of the gallery to the other and then cover it in faux wood vinyl. Subtly, over the course of walking 30 feet from the front door to the back room, the experience of seeing the works of view is colored by a sense of physical imbalance. Like the ocean, the work is unsteady, environmental, and not for sale.
