1 Less Three is performed by dancers Julia Crockett and Bailey Salisbury with a live musical score by Zane Morris (TINT). The work explores imitation as it relates to choreography and improvisation, chaos and control, failure and freedom.

Julia Crockett is a New York-based performer and choreographer. She founded the Julia Crockett Group in 2012 and is currently a recipient of the 2013-2014 LEIMAY Fellowship. Her work has been featured in numerous galleries and theatrical venues throughout New York City, including Brooklyn Academy of Music, Danspace Project, Capricious 88, Jack Chiles gallery, Signal Gallery, and Home Alone 2. Crockett choreographed the fashion presentation of DIS Magazine’s resident astrologer Morgan Rehbock’s streetwear line: Astrology IRL. She is on the faculty at NYU: Tisch, where she teaches movement based performance and physical technique.

Zane Morris, who performs under the name TINT, is a multi-instrumentalist, artist, and composer based in Los Angeles. His forthcoming release for True Panther features guitar-centric and electronic compositions that defamiliarize quoted passages from avant-garde and traditional music sources. This will be his first composition created specifically to accompany performance.

Wardrobe design by Bailey Salisbury, formerly of New York fashion label JF & SON.
